We And 'The Cinema'

Cinema plays an important role in our lives. Isn’t it?
It has a direct relationship with human minds. Human mind evolves and so does the Cinema.
As with the change in the thoughts and ideas in our mind, we begin to think in a different way. The filmmakers put new and innovative ideas while making a film which caters to his trendy audience. As their film success depends upon his audience, they work according to the taste of the audience.
Filmmakers try to satisfy his audience by Entertainment, Reality, and Imagination/Fantasies etc. i.e. by which his audience can relate completely.
If we talk about Bollywood, many filmmakers came and gone. Some got the success, some did not. In the past years, we have seen new filmmakers like Rakesh Omprakash Mehra, Imtiaz Ali, Anurag Kashyap, Dibakar Banerjee, Zoya Akhtar, Karan Johar, Raju Hirani, etc. who caters to their audience in their own film making genres. And we must say all filmmakers are fabulous in their own style.
I am a huge fan of Anurag Kashyap’s films, as he has a totally different taste in films. His Gangs of Wasseypur(2012) was a crime film and which has its cult following. Kashyap has been described as a film maker who makes film on post independence era of modern India. He often shoots in a guirella style where there is no permission to shoot, no good props, mainly shoots in real locations, and makes his actors to improvise their dialogues on the sets. While watching Gangs of Wasseypur’s making, I noticed that he actually tore down the script of Richa Chadha who plays Naghma in GOW. He asked her to act impromptu on the sets. His first film as a director was Paanch, then came Black Friday (2004), No Smoking (2007),Dev D (2009), Gulaal (2009), The Girl in Yellow Boots (2011), Ugly (2014). And now we are waiting for his much awaited film Bombay Velvet which will release on May 15 this year.
Another director who has been received applause from his audience is Amol Gupte, which I personally find quite interesting person as a film maker. He has altogether a different taste from all the directors of Hindi Cinema. He is a screenplay writer, a director and an actor. He has worked as a Creative Director of Taare Zameen Par (2007) and has directed some films such as Stanley Ka Dabba (2011), (in which he introduced his own son Partho Gupte as a main lead in the film), Hawa Hawaii (2014). He had a small appearance in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar (1992) as a race commentator. But his actual first role as a villain came in Kaminey (2005). His Bhope-Tope is surely a famous dialogue from the film. His other films as an actor are, Phas Gaye Re Obama (2010), Stanley Ka Dabba (2011), Bheja Fry 2 (2011) and Singham Returns (2014).
His two films (Stanley Ka Dabba & Hawa Hawaii) as a director were based on development issues of India. Stanley Ka Dabba depicted Child Labor as a very serious problem, which is disclosed at the climax of the movie. His thoughts of making films are different from other directors of Indian Cinema.
Hawa Hawai which has Partho Gupte and Saqib Saleem in the lead role is an outstanding movie by Amol Gupte. He has written, produced and directed this film. The film released on 9 May, 2014. His style of making a film like this is commendable in Hindi Cinema.
I watched this film today and I observed that he has included different development issues of India in his one film. He included Child Labor, Farmers Suicide in Maharashtra, no health care facilities in rural areas, Poverty, beggary on streets etc. Amol has focused on all these issues in the form of one single film. These types of films do surely have some specific audience who are actually satisfied with what they expect. In the film, Amol has shown two different world; World of Education and World of Poverty.
The bifurcation of two different worlds in one single film and also focusing on various development issues is a commendable work by Amol Gupte. His films actually impacts people like those who wants something different to watch.
The film serves as a reminder and a lesson - in hope, in empathy and gratitude. Amol has juxtaposed the lives of the under-privileged with the ones who have an easier urban life, he manages to set the tone which helps you understand kids who are working for a living rather than go to school. It also makes you thankful for the life that you have while making you respect the dignity of the worker. Amol Gupte uses a good trick to take out your emotions from the inside of your heart.
You Smile, You Laugh, You Brood, You Cry too.
Go watch the movie before it’s too late to understand what you are thankful for.

AN EPISODE OF A SATAN GIRL

TV was turned on. She was watching TV ,holding an aircraft toy in her right hand. She looked at her aircraft toy with her teeny-weeny eyes, whose cockpit was broken from right side. She used to fantasize about her life when an anonymous boy will land at her home in the pilot's costume from an aircraft, will hold her hand and make her sit in his aircraft. So her toy was very close to her heart. Tears rolled out from her eyes, one of its drop fell on her toy and suddenly she saw an apparition of someone. Her face becomes pale as she saw a long and sharp scythe in his hand, and the ghost is approaching towards her. She becomes fearful. She fainted for few seconds and after few hours she regain her consciousness. Her eyes began to open and she saw blood droplets which leads her to the graveyard. When she enters, She saw a grave with her name written on it which says 08-04-1978 to 16-10-2005

LOVE YOU! TILL DEATH

It has been 10 years they both haven’t talk to each other…time have passed!
He didn’t knew how to be in contact with Naina… His love!!!  His life!!! He used to write letters for her but never had courage to send them.
Suddenly, he got an idea… he signed in facebook… he took his mouse pointer to move on search box…he typed “Naina Sahgal.”
He found her…
He sends friend request to her…
Luckily, she was on line…she accepted his friend request.
He knew she was the one to whom he always loved during his school time…that was why, he decided to send friend request…
Naina knew that he was from the same school in which she had completed her studies.
He never told her about his feelings.

They started conversation on facebook:
Rahul:  Hi!
Naina:  Hi!
Rahul:  How are you?
Naina:  I am fine! You?
Rahul: I am good too! Do you remember me?
Naina: Yes of course! You are Rahul from D.A.V. right?
Rahul:  Yes! You remembered me?
(His heart beat becomes faster)
Rahul:  If you don’t mind, can I get your phone no.?
Naina:  Ya sure!
They exchanged their phone numbers.
They both had a chat for a while…
After few days, they started talking on the phone.

Few days later:  (on phone)
Rahul:  You know what! Many days have been passed, I think we should meet, what do you say?
Naina:  Ummm…..I can’t! Sorry!
Rahul:  But why? I am just asking to have a cup of coffee with me?
(He became lifeless for a second, if she didn’t come then all what he had planned to propose her and to show the letters will get failed, He had waited 10 years for her)
Naina:  My mother wouldn’t allow me to go!
Rahul:  Please come! At least for 10 min.
Naina:  I’ll try!  Where should I come?
Rahul:  CafĂ© Coffee Day, Today, 5: 00 P.M.
Naina: OK! Bye!
Rahul: OK! See you then! Bye!
(He disconnects his phone)

AT CCD…
Rahul is waiting outside CCD. Few minutes passed. The clock strikes 5:30 P.M.
(He looked at his wrist watch every minute. He waited, waited and waited! The clock strikes 6:15 P.M.)
Rahul makes a call at her phone…and the phone says:
[the no. you have dialed is not reachable at this moment)
He again tries but fails again. Then he gets struck by the idea to log in his facebook account to see the green light in his chat list in front of Naina’s name…
But he didn’t see the same…he gets upset…
He moved away from that place and the red rose in his hand fell on the ground and crushed by his feet…
On the road, he is walking with his upset face thinking about Naina…
(Why she didn’t came to meet me? What could be the reason for her not to come? Is she already married? If she is married, then why didn’t she told me about this?)
(These kind of questions keep on irritating him…He put his hand in his pocket to take out all letters which he had never shown to anybody…but unluckily, Some of the letters flew on the main road, Rahul followed them on the road…and the moment he kneel down to pick them he saw a white beam of a car in front of his eyes and….in few seconds…Rahul was no more!

Actually, the girl Naina whom he loved till death actually don't exist in the world…She was only his fantasy, his imagination, his vision….It was only in his state of mind…Rahul was living in a world of fantasy, in his self-made world in which there was a need of love and to be loved… He fantasized to love a beautiful girl and wished to get everything he wanted in his life…
He died for his love who was not in the whole universe but was only his imagination…

Sorry! Galti ho gyi!

Sorry! Galti ho gyi!
Sorry! Sorry is a word which can save a person from being perpetrator after making any mistake… this small word can help us in any circumstances…this word has become common in our life that when we make a mistake, whether it is a small or big mistake, this word always helps us…we always say SORRY and try to elope in anyway…whether our mistake has caused a huge loss of somebody but we hardly care about it and say SORRY and move away…it’s just a human nature…
Likewise, Ravi Verma was there who never felt guilty for his mistake and had never committed his mistakes…RAVI, was alone in his family…his parents were dead by then…Ravi, who was an employee in some business company… his boss was dependent on him as he was new to his job and he was well educated person but just because of this behavior he had never been in the same company too long… but now he was working in a company but in this company too he couldn’t stay for long…once he was working for a project in his company, so his boss unknowingly, thought he’ll manage everything in the project so Ravi was appointed to work in the project…but he was helpless…he caused a huge amount of loss in that project…when his boss asked about it so he just said SORRY! and moved out of his boss’s cabin…his boss got angry by his unexpected behavior…so his boss fired him…
He was in a habit of saying sorry after making a mistake…everywhere he used a simple five letter word (sorry) after making a mistake…once he was walking with his black slippers in his feet, half pant and a half sleeves round neck t-shirt… a girl was walking ahead of him… he could not see her face but from his point of view she was looking beautiful with his silky long black hair…he liked her so he stick with her like a glue on a paper…she became angry and slap him on his face…his face became red like tomato…he said SORRY and moved away…
Throughout his lifetime, he had been the same…so SORRY word was his accompany but now his foe as it was an obstacle in his life…but he couldn’t resist saying SORRY ever!!!  He had spent his entire life like this… now he was about to die because of his old age…after some days, he died as no one was there to take care of him…
Actually, God called him…when his eyes started to unwrap, he saw nothing but GOD…he asked him where was he??? So he replied that he is no more, Ravi was shocked…he was confused but soon he understood the cause of his death…God advised him to take some rest…he nodded and began to shut his eyes…his last words were SORRY! GALTI HO GYI!!!...THEY CAME OUT OF HIS MOUTH LIKE HIS FIRST REQUEST OF FORGIVENESS…

a pivotal character is a protagonist...

A pivotal character is a protagonist...one who takes the lead in any movement or cause...
he creates conflict and makes something to move forward...without pivotal character there is no play...and for a good play, pivotal character should be there...he should be aggressive and should be impatient...
then only he is known as a protagonist...

A Change

He is walking on the road...People call him VIVEK...He never talks to MUSLIMS, hates them...He is frustrated...He is jobless and had a divorce last night...while walking he is thinking about himself...where he has done mistakes that he had these circumstances....he is going through....
But suddenly a car appeared in front of him and...and he met an accident...he is lying on the road...he is not in the position even to stand...crowd gathered...the driver of the car came out of his car...

He has gone to god...when he reached there, he saw many people working as a labor...these people are those who had done many sins in their life and now God is trying to make them decent persons so that they can be known as better person in next life...his eyes are moving here and there...then suddenly his eyes stopped...his eyes saw a man sitting on his singhasan...he is coming towards Vivek...and says "You are new my boy, so let me tell you our rule... You will have to share your food everyday with the person which I will ordered, otherwise no food will be given to you...You will have to decide what you have to choose. This is your punishment”...said God.
Vivek agrees his order...

Days passed, but with the passage of time, he found out that he will have to share his food with MUSLIM...the MUSLIM agrees to share but he doesn't...now there is a problem, either he will have to share his food with MUSLIM or he will have to face starvation...Now what he will do to fill his stomach? He is helpless...he decides not to eat food that day and he will remain starved...
But after few days he started to feel unconsciousness and...

His eyes open in hospital...he is lying on a death bed...he is going to die...
But readers you must be thinking how he came in hospital...Actually the driver of that car from which he met an accident brought him in the hospital...and the driver of the car was ‘A MUSLIM’...When Vivek came to know about this, he feels that he should not live...and think (I was brought in hospital by A MUSLIM, that’s ridiculous...)
But at last what happened is, doctor asked for the blood donation...i.e. O+ but it was hardly to get...then the blood group of that car driver matched...To save his life, he agreed to donate him his blood...and fortunately he saved his life...he became very happy...

But later on, he came to know that he was saved by that MUSLIM...he got back his life, THANKS TO MUSLIM...
His thinking about MUSLIMS changed with this incident...

Now he doesn’t hate Muslims but considered them as his brothers...
He has become friend of his lifesaver MUSLIM and he is hale and hearty...he has also invited his friend for a dinner at his place...
Now they are having their dinner together...

MY FAITH TALKS ABOUT RELIGION...WE SHOULD NOT HATE ANYONE IF HE/SHE BELONGS TO OTHER RELIGION...I THINK THAT THE FAITH ON RELIGION SHOULD BE SPREAD IN THE REST OF THE WORLD...IF ANYBODY CAN BE INSPIRED BY MY ‘FAITH ON RELIGION’,IT WILL BE HAPPIEST MOMENT OF MY LIFE...
